The SMART Centre Group consist of SMART Centres which are knowledge centres. They train entrepreneurs in developing countries in SMARTechs which are innovative and affordable water and sanitation technologies like SHIPO well drilling, EMAS or Rope pumps, Tube groundwater recharge, SaTopans latrines, Water filters etc. The focus is on local production because; “what is produced locally can be repaired locally”.
